Associate Engineer (Civil) - Remote

J ob Summary The Engineer I is part of a unit designing excavation shoring projects, working under a Professional Engineer. Ensures that engineering design, complies with the project objective and contractual requirements i.e. project schedule, company standards, and procedures. Key Responsibilities Design excavation shoring plans. Provide advice and assistance to personnel on all matters about engineering. Solve customer needs with equipment rented and designed by NTS. Communicate with Sales on the best solution for the customer’s needs. Plan, schedule, and provide work direction when required for preparation of designs, processes, and related data. Bring elements of a project together, makes certain that all elements proceed satisfactorily on schedule and initiates corrective action as required. Other responsibilities as assigned. Knowledge and Skills Knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit. Knowledge of Microsoft Office. Knowledge of statics and mechanics of materials Analytical problem-solving and presentation skills Communication - verbal and written. Qualifications A bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural/Geotechnical Engineering Associated classes: Statics, Steel Design, Concrete Design, Foundations, or Geotechnical Design Why work for NTS?
