Job Description Summary Job Description Roles and Responsibilities: Role Summary/Purpose Responsible for onsite technical support installation and preventive / corrective maintenance in customers’ medical equipment. Drives customer satisfaction through service excellence. Essential Responsibilities Technical support - installation and preventive / corrective maintenance in customers’ medical equipment, maintaining all models of specific equipment of one or more modalities in the assigned area; Evaluate customer medical equipment issues and implement appropriate repairs; Verify and approve the operational quality of the equipment and / or system; Document all repair actions and submit reports/summaries according to schedule; Follow appropriate GE policies, procedures, hospital protocol, and completes necessary documentation; Maintain communications with customers as directed, to ensure resolution and proper follow-up, leading to strong customer relations and ongoing customer satisfaction; Work as a member of local team to provide efficient service delivery to all accounts within the assigned area; Develop strong customer relationships and serve as an interface between the customer and all GE Healthcare organizations, creating ""a One GEHC"" for the customer; Comply with the integrity and compliance guidelines as well as promote a safe working environment and ensure compliance with applicable EHS policies and procedures. Quality Specific Goals: Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position. Complete all planned Quality and Compliance training within the defined deadlines. Identify and report any and all customer quality or compliance concerns immediately to the Quality Organization. Ensure all work orders, vendor service reports, time and expense reports, PM activities, purchase orders, and other duties are documented in an accurate and timely manner. Ensure all test equipment is tracked and 100% calibrated on time. Qualifications/Requirements Associates degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or correlated area by an accredited Educational Institution; Minimum of 3 years of experience with maintenance and installation of medical equipment; and customer relationship management and customer service; Valid National Driver's License Availability to travel ~ 30% of the time Desired Characteristics Analytical and communication skills with the ability to communicate technical issues to the customer in an easy to understand manner; Knowledge of the office package (Excel, Word, Power Point, Internet) Planning and effective organization of work; High standards and quality of work. Initiative, concentration and excellent communication skills, listening and establishing interpersonal relationships; Strong time management and organizational skills; Self-motivated Experience developing and maintaining good customer relations.
