Associate Frontend Developer

We are looking for an Associate Frontend Developer to build and maintain the digital interfaces that support our commercial advisory work. Our firm recently began a significant project for an Amsterdam based client, which requires clear data visualization and interface design to help their leadership team monitor complex investment decisions. This is a fully remote position where you will translate technical requirements into clean, functional user interfaces that reflect the ground reality of the markets where we operate. You will work alongside our research and strategy teams to ensure that our digital tools provide practical support for high stakes partnership decisions.

What you will do

• Build and maintain user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to support our internal commercial advisory tools.
• Collaborate with our research team to turn complex investment data into clear, interactive dashboards for client review.
• Implement responsive designs that work consistently across different browsers and devices for our senior consultants in the field.
• Participate in regular code reviews to ensure all software components meet our standards for reliability and performance.
• Fix bugs and resolve technical issues identified during the testing of our custom investment and partnership models.
• Work closely with senior partners to understand how clients interact with our data and improve the user experience based on those observations.
• Draft clear documentation for the frontend components you build so other team members can understand the underlying logic.
• Support the transition of static research reports into dynamic digital formats that help counterparties reach agreements faster.

What you bring

• Basic proficiency in modern web technologies including CSS frameworks and fundamental JavaScript.
• A strong interest in how technology supports commercial judgment and high level partnership decisions.
• Academic or project experience building functional websites or web applications from the ground up.
• High attention to detail when translating visual mockups and logic requirements into functional code.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to team members who do not have a programming background.
• A logical approach to solving problems and a willingness to learn new tools as our specific project requirements change.
• Professional discipline to manage your own tasks and meet deadlines in a fully remote work environment.
• Curiosity about the business logic behind the data you are presenting on the screen.
