​06 - Associate, Payroll & HR Services Req ID: 138815 Remote Position: Hybrid Band: 06 Region: Asia Country: Malaysia State/Province: Bayan Lepas City: Penang General Overview Functional Area : Human Resources (HRM) Career Stream : Payroll & HR Services (HRM_PHRS) Role : Associate Job Title : Associate, Payroll & HR Services Job Code : AST-HRM-PHRS Job Level : Level 06 Direct/Indirect Indicator : Indirect Detailed Description Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following: Manage employees all time and attendance related data entries example shift change, OT requests Generate daily, weekly, monthly, adhoc time attendnace reports Termination payroll and month end payroll process Support employees queries and resolve cases raised in ServiceNow Perform system testing for system config change, upgrade or legal change Perform and handling for Thailand payroll Knowledge in Payroll will be an added advantage Knowledge/Skills/Competencies Proficiency in spoken, read and written Thai is required, as this role will involve supporting the payroll operations in Thailand. knowledge of legislation impacting the practice of human resources management. knowledge of company HR policies and practices, labor movement, arbitration proceedings. Knowledge of local HRIS system and report writing. Good public presentation skills. Ability to conduct a thorough, timely and unbiased internal investigation and provide practical recommendations. Ability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of internal customers. Ability to evaluate multiple highly detailed tasks, determine priorities and organize work in a manner that allows for timely completion of projects. Ability to manage sensitive employee information in a confidential manner. Knowledge of computer applications and the ability to accurately perform tasks in some or all of the following applications: Access, Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Physical Demands Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment. Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data. Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.
