Associate Product Manager - Fintech

We follow continuous delivery best practices executed on top of a modern technology stack. Our products are built for developers, by developers. We strive to find the right set of trade-offs in order to validate our hypothesis as early as possible, iterating on our products based on customer feedback. We communicate transparently. We do weekly all-hands where we get together to discuss company performance and goals. While we are global and remote-friendly, we also operate from our vibrant offices in CDMX and Sao Paulo. To accommodate the various time zones in which we are based, we ensure we’re always synced up for at least 3 hours per day. Your opportunity: As an Associate Product Manager in the Data Aggregation Product, you'll support the strategy and execution of our financial data connectivity products. Your mission is to help fintechs and financial institutions unlock new capabilities through reliable, secure, and easy-to-integrate data infrastructure. You'll partner closely with engineers, designers, and customer-facing teams to understand customer needs, identify new opportunities, and contribute to building products that solve meaningful financial problems. This is a unique opportunity to grow your product management skills while experiencing the rapid evolution of Open Finance in Brazil firsthand. Your success will be measured by your ability to contribute to product initiatives that achieve customer adoption and business impact while delivering high-quality features that improve customer experience and product performance. You will develop a strong understanding of customer needs, turn insights into product improvements, and help uncover new opportunities for financial data products and use cases. Equally important will be your ability to collaborate effectively across Product, Engineering, Design, and Go-to-Market teams, contributing to the continued growth of Belvo's Data Aggregation business. You will: Support the definition and execution of the roadmap for financial data sources and connectors. Research market trends, customer needs, and emerging data opportunities that can unlock new use cases for fintechs and financial institutions. Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to understand workflows, pain points, and opportunities to improve our products. Help launch integrations and features that expand the utility of our data products and support go-to-market teams in driving adoption. Analyze product usage, customer feedback, and market signals to inform product decisions and prioritization. Run experiments, prototype ideas, and participate in product discovery initiatives to validate solutions and learn quickly. Work closely with Engineering, Design, and Product Operations to define requirements, prioritize work, and ensure successful delivery. Contribute to building the easiest and most powerful platform for fintechs to integrate and use financial data This position may be for you if: You have 2+ years of experience in Product Management or adjacent roles in startups. You have strong analytical skills and are comfortable exploring data, writing SQL queries, and translating insights into product decisions. You have strong product sense: you're thoughtful, creative, and pragmatic in how you frame problems and evaluate solutions. You enjoy running experiments, prototyping ideas, and learning directly from users. You have strong English and Portuguese communication skills. You enjoy working closely with developers and are excited by API-first products and technical platforms. You’re comfortable leveraging AI tools (e.g., chatbots, copilots, or productivity assistants) to enhance daily workflows and decision-making) You have experience working in fintech. Amazing if: You have previous experience in credit, data platforms, or Open Finance technologies. You have contributed to B2B, API, or infrastructure products. You have worked in a remote or distributed organization. You have a technical background or enjoy diving deep into how systems and data products work. You have leveraged AI to fundamentally change the way you work and / or build amazing projects Our tech stack: We’re building our platform using modern technologies, putting the focus on reliability and long-term maintainability We primarily use Python on the backend. We use battle-tested technologies such as Django, and we are heavy users of Python’s asyncio for some parts of our stack We use Javascript, Vue.js and Sass on the frontend. We are developing and leveraging our own design system and component library We run our infrastructure on top of Amazon Web Services, leveraging managed services.
