Associate Security Analyst

Position Summary: The Associate Security Analyst will monitor Gordon Food Service's Information Systems environment for cyber-security related events, anomalies, and malicious activities. They will triage, respond, and escalate appropriately as needed. They will also lead in process improvement and implementation of cyber-security and forensics solutions. What you will do: Monitor the cyber-security environment Respond to cyber-security alerts & events Evaluate risk of cyber-security events Triage cyber-security alerts & events then escalate as needed Build rule sets for cyber-security incident and event monitoring solution Monitor cyber-security intelligence feeds for indicators of compromise Participation in incident response Experience in other related information technology domains Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. When you will work: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm Hybrid schedule, 4 days in office, with 1 day remote What you'll bring to the table: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field preferred. Security+, Network+, GIAC or CEH certifications preferred. One to three years previous related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience required. Must have excellent written, verbal, organizational and communication skills. Must have the ability to multi-task, prioritize and be able to work independently or within a team environment. Must have good customer service and time management skills. Ability to develop solutions to a variety of complex problems, and reference established precedents and policies.
