About the engagement: Apogee Global RMS is delivering a focused, strategy engagement to help a leading global executive institution sharpen its competitive position and chart a three-to-five-year growth strategy. The work spans a competitive market analysis, a three-region assessment (North America, Europe, and Asia), an organizational-structure and resource review, and a board-ready strategy delivered to institutional leadership. The engagement is led personally by the firm's Founder & Principal Advisor. We are seeking one capable, versatile professional to combine two supporting functions — hands-on strategy analysis and engagement program management — into a single role working directly alongside the Engagement Lead. Role overview: This is a dual role. Roughly three-quarters of your time is spent as an Associate Strategy Consultant — carrying a substantial share of the research, analysis, and drafting under the Lead's direction — and the balance as the engagement's Program Manager, owning the schedule, milestones, and coordination that keep a compressed 12-week engagement on track. You will own defined pieces of work end-to-end, with clear direction and review at each milestone. Key responsibilities: Strategy & analysis (Associate Strategy Consultant): Support stakeholder interviews during the Week 1 Phoenix onsite; capture, synthesize, and circulate findings. Design, administer, and analyze the stakeholder/market survey. Conduct secondary market and competitive research; build the current-state baseline. Contribute to the three-region assessment and the organizational-structure review. Draft findings, regional memos, and sections of the strategy document for the Lead's review and authorship. Prepare board-ready materials for the executive outbrief. Program management: Own the engagement schedule and workplan across the twelve weeks and four phases (Discover, Diagnose, Design, Deliver). Track progress against the three client milestones — Current Market Review (~Week 4), Draft Strategy (~Week 10), and Final Delivery (~Week 12) — and flag risks early. Maintain action logs, status reporting, and version control; manage the engagement's document/data room. Coordinate working sessions, the mid-point review (~Week 7), and onsite logistics for both Phoenix trips. Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree and 2–4 years (or equivalent) in strategy, management consulting, corporate strategy, or a comparable analytical role. Strong research, quantitative analysis, and business-writing skills; able to produce first drafts with light direction. Demonstrated project or program coordination — scheduling, milestone tracking, and stakeholder communication. Poised and credible in client-facing and executive settings. Highly organized, reliable, and self-directed under a compressed timeline. Proficiency with standard analysis and productivity tools (spreadsheets, slides, documents). Availability of ~15–20 hours per week for the full 12 weeks, and ability to travel to Phoenix twice. Preferred qualifications: Exposure to higher education or executive global-market strategy, or go-to-market work. Familiarity with strategy frameworks and organizational assessment. Survey design and analysis experience. Formal project-management training (e.g., PMP or coursework) is a plus but not required. For any questions (OR) to apply, please contact us at [email protected]
