Koniag Advisory and Business Solutions, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an Atlassian Platform Engineer to support the Digital Workplace workforce by configuring, integrating, and sustaining Atlassian tools used for Agile delivery, collaboration, knowledge management, and work tracking. The successful candidate will help teams use Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management, automation, dashboards, and integrations in a secure, consistent, and supportable manner. Work will be performed at the client's facility or customer approved remote locations during Eastern Time core business hours. The Atlassian Platform Engineer will provide hands-on platform configuration, support, automation, and integration services for Atlassian capabilities. Principal responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Configure Jira projects, workflows, screens, fields, schemes, boards, filters, dashboards, automations, and Confluence spaces.Support Jira Service Management setup, request types, queues, SLAs, knowledge integration, and service workflows as needed. Implement approved platform standards, governance practices, naming conventions, permissions, and access controls. Troubleshoot user, workflow, automation, reporting, permissions, and integration issues. Support integration with CI/CD tools, ServiceNow, identity platforms, reporting tools, and collaboration systems. Assist with migration, cleanup, data quality, marketplace app configuration, and release/change management activities. Maintain configuration documentation, support procedures, and user guidance. Education and Experience: Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience. 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise software platforms, collaboration tools, ALM tools, or workflow systems. 3+ years of hands-on experience configuring Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management, or comparable work management platforms. Desired: Atlassian administration certification or formal Atlassian training. Experience supporting federal government, Agile, DevSecOps, or ITSM delivery environments. Experience with Jira Cloud, Confluence Cloud, Atlassian Access, or marketplace application administration. Required Skills and Competencies: Working knowledge of Jira and Confluence administration, including workflows, permissions, automation rules, dashboards, and space/project configuration. Ability to troubleshoot platform issues and explain configuration impacts to users and technical teams. Experience supporting governance, access control, documentation, and change management for enterprise platforms. Understanding of Agile delivery practices and how teams use Atlassian tools for backlog, sprint, release, and knowledge management. Strong customer service, documentation, and communication skills. Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance. Desired Skills and Competencies: Experience with Jira Service Management, Assets, Advanced Roadmaps, ScriptRunner, Automation for Jira, or comparable marketplace apps. Familiarity with REST APIs, webhooks, scripting, reporting, or data export patterns. Knowledge of ITIL, SAFe, DevSecOps, or release management practices.
