The Associate Director of Operations, under the direction of the Director of Operations, plays a key role in management of global operations. The Associate Director is responsible for supporting the execution of day-to-day activities, including workflow management, performance monitoring, issue resolution, and implementation of company initiatives across the firm. This position requires strong capabilities in coordination, change management, problem-solving, team development, and adaptability in a fast-growing environment. Responsible for execution and coordination of operational activities within assigned scope, ensuring alignment with the Director of Operations’ direction and priorities. Manage day-to-day workflow coordination across assigned teams to support timely completion of operational deliverables, escalating constraints and risks as needed. Prepare & consolidate operational reports, dashboards, and performance summaries for review and decision-making, including KPI and utilization tracking . Track & follow-up on operational issues, action items, and escalations, ensuring timely resolution in coordination with managers, and escalating strategic, high-risk, or unresolved matters to appropriate manager. Lead performance management efforts within assigned teams by partnering with managers on coaching, Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs), corrective actions, and training initiatives, escalating significant matters appropriate manager as needed. Oversee the planning, assignment, execution, and monitoring of integration projects and other similar initiatives, ensuring effective resource allocation, stakeholder communication, and timely completion of deliverables, while escalating significant risks, constraints, or decisions as needed. Support execution of operational initiatives, process improvements, and change management activities under the direction of the Director of Operations. Support alignment of managers and teams on workload distribution, priorities, and execution expectations, providing first-line operational support in workflow execution and coordination, and escalating unresolved issues. Coordinate recruitment activities for staff and senior-level roles, including screening coordination, interview scheduling, and pipeline tracking. Support tracking of performance, quality outputs, and completion of required checks across teams by maintaining records and consolidating updates for Director of Operations review and other management, as needed. Support execution of training programs and staff development initiatives, including scheduling, coordination, and tracking. Provide coverage during Director of Operations leave or unavailability, ensuring continuity of day-to-day operations, workflow coordination, and escalation of issues. Additional responsibilities as assigned. To be considered as a candidate, you must meet the following minimum requirements: Ability to effectively communicate and develop strong relationships with clients, business partners and co-workers. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master’s degree or CPA is preferred. Minimum of 4 - 8 years of experience in management, preferably within an accounting or professional services firm. Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and regulatory requirements. Proven experience in process improvement and change management in operational environments. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in auditing and/or accounting software, practice management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
