Audit Semi-Senior

Our client, a long-established and highly respected accountancy firm in Cork, is seeking an experienced Audit Semi- Senior to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious part-qualified accountant with at least 1 years Irish practice experience who wants to advance their audit career in a supportive, forward-thinking environment.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting the planning, execution, and completion of audits for SME and corporate clients.
• Preparing audit documentation and working papers in line with professional standards.
• Collaborating with senior team members and learning from their guidance.
• Building positive client relationships, handling queries, and providing practical support.

Requirements

• Part-qualified ACA or ACCA accountant (or equivalent).
• Minimum 1 years audit experience within a practice environment.
• Good technical knowledge of auditing standards and accounting principles and basic tax principles.
• Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Experience with CaseWare (or similar audit software) is an advantage.
