Job Title: Automated Test Engineer Job Description Join a dynamic team dedicated to enhancing the cybersecurity capabilities of the U.S. Navy and Department of Defense. As an Automated Test Engineer, you will collaborate with experts to identify potential cyber threats, evaluate system vulnerabilities, and develop methods to mitigate risks. Your role will involve analyzing cyber attack impacts, creating simulations for threat scenarios, and developing software and hardware solutions to defend against current cyber threats. Responsibilities Develop and lead testing plans to ensure product functionality before delivery. Coordinate testing activities and analyze results to identify issues and recommend improvements. Work closely with development teams to troubleshoot problems and ensure software meets requirements. Create test plans, scripts, and conduct functional, regression, and deployment tests. Track testing metrics, generate reports, and continuously improve testing processes. Essential Skills Proficiency in JavaScript and Python for scripting and code editing. Experience in software testing and quality assurance, specifically in AI-enabled applications. Familiarity with automated test scripts and tools like Test Café. Experience with non-deterministic testing such as mutation, performance, acceptance, and other testing methodologies. Knowledge of system testing metrics, best practices, and methodologies. Ability to participate in requirements and design reviews, develop test plans, and execute test cases. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience with 5+ years in the field. Additional Skills & Qualifications Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI Clearance. Experience in statistical reporting and data analysis. Experience working in fast-paced software development environments. Work Environment This role involves working on-site up to 2 weeks at a time for testing, with releases happening once a month. Testing periods could extend into the evening. When not on-site, remote work is an option. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Dahlgren, VA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $125000.00 - $175000.00/yr.
