We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cloud Solutions & Automation Architect with a strong background in Multi-Cloud environments (GCP & AWS) and a deep focus on Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Automation . In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing secure, scalable, and cost‑efficient public cloud solutions. You will act as the technical authority for infrastructure design, driving end-to-end automation and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into robust cloud architectures. Responsibilities and duties: Public Cloud Architecture & Implementation Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available architectures across Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS) . Build modern cloud solutions leveraging core services from both providers (e.g., Compute Engine/EC2, Cloud Storage/S3, Cloud SQL/RDS, Cloud Functions/Lambda, VPC, IAM, GKE/EKS ). Apply cloud best practices and align all designs with the GCP Architecture Framework and AWS Well‑Architected Framework . Infrastructure Automation & Orchestration (Core Focus) Drive end-to-end automation by designing, building, and maintaining robust IaC pipelines. Master Terraform (Mandatory) to provision, manage, and scale multi-cloud infrastructure, ensuring clean, modular, and reusable code. Implement Ansible (Mandatory) for configuration management, application deployment, OS-level hardening, and post-provisioning automation across cloud environments. Maintain consistency, traceability, and security across deployments using GitOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. Cloud Security, Governance & Compliance Implement cloud security best practices , including strict Identity and Access Management (IAM) governance, encryption at rest/in transit, and advanced network security (VPC, Firewalls, Cloud Armor, WAF). Manage multi‑account and multi-project governance and compliance frameworks (e.g., AWS Organizations/Control Tower and GCP Folders/Organization Policies ). Participate in technical stakeholder meetings to define cloud landing zones, migration strategies, and enterprise IaC blueprints. Cost Optimization & Continuous Improvement Proactively assess cloud environments to identify and execute FinOps practices, cost-saving strategies, performance tuning, and security enhancements. Promote evolving cloud-native solutions and cutting-edge automation tools to enhance architectural efficiency. Cross-functional Collaboration Work closely with development, operations, security, and data teams to ensure smooth infrastructure integration. Provide technical guidance on cloud infrastructure matters, acting as a subject matter expert across the organization. Mandatory technical skills: Multi-Cloud Expertise: Proven hands-on experience designing and operating enterprise solutions in both Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS) . Expert Terraform: Advanced experience writing production-grade Terraform modules for both AWS and GCP providers. Expert Ansible: Solid experience creating Ansible playbooks, roles, and collections for complex configuration management and automation workflows. Containerization & Orchestration: Solid understanding of containers ( Docker ) and managed Kubernetes engines ( GCP GKE and AWS EKS ). CI/CD & GitOps: Experience building and maintaining automation pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or cloud-native CI/CD tools ). Preferred qualifications & soft skills: Cloud Certifications: Professional certifications in either cloud provider are highly valued (e.g., GCP Professional Cloud Architect or AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional ). Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to break down complex business requirements into technical blueprints. Communication: Excellent technical communication skills, with the ability to document architectures clearly and explain technical concepts to different stakeholders. What do we offer you?
