AxiomSL Developer - Credit Risk Regulatory Reporting

Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Axiom Regulatory Reporting Developer to join our technology team. In this role, you will be focusing on the development and maintenance of the regulatory reporting systems ensuring all deliverables adhere to architectural, technical, security, and data access standards. As a Senior Axiom Developer, you will collaborate with a global, inclusive team in a fast-paced environment, gaining valuable exposure to Regulatory Reporting functions. This role is open to any candidate residing in India . Key Responsibilities • Design, development, and implementation of Axiom Controller View (V11) components, including Taxonomy, data models, and workflows. • Provide technical guidance and mentor junior developers in the team, conducting code reviews and ensuring adherence to engineering best practices. • Working closely with Business Analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions in Axiom, ensuring thorough documentation. • Participate in design discussions, architectural planning, and continuous improvement initiatives. • Oversee production releases, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate remediation activities with other teams. • Collaborate with stakeholders to plan release schedules, assess risks, and ensure compliance with internal controls. Qualifications & Experience Essential: • 5+ years of hands-on Axiom development and implementation experience. • Strong expertise in Axiom Controller View V10 / V11, including Taxonomy, data dictionaries, data sources, portfolios, and Shorthand Logic. • Solid understanding of Data Warehousing principles and ETL technologies. • Proficiency in SQL, database concepts, and scripting languages (Unix, Python, Perl, etc.). • Experience working in Agile delivery environments. • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving skills. • Prior experience in Banking and Financial Services. Preferred: • Familiarity with Control M or other job scheduling tools. • Understanding of general ledger systems, balance sheets, and finance or regulatory reporting processes. • Experience working with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
