Work on enterprise-scale Azure data transformation and modernization initiatives Influence architecture decisions that shape the future of data-driven service delivery Collaborate with cross-functional teams focused on innovation, security, and scalability Lead the design of modern Azure-based data platforms, data lakes, and database environments Share your expertise through mentoring, knowledge transfer, and technical leadership Enjoy the flexibility of a fully remote work environment while contributing to mission-critical projects Partner with experienced cloud, security, and infrastructure professionals on cutting-edge initiatives Your Role & Responsibilities Support the design, implementation, modernization, and transformation of enterprise data services Architect and implement Azure-based data lakes, relational databases, and non-relational database solutions Develop and maintain enterprise data models that support business and technical requirements Ensure data assets are properly structured, accessible, secure, and aligned with organizational goals Recommend and evaluate data platforms, technologies, and architectural standards Optimize data access patterns and database performance across multiple environments Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and architecture artifacts Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and development teams to meet compliance and security requirements Design and support backup, recovery, high availability, and disaster recovery solutions Support cloud integrations and enterprise data transformation initiatives Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and knowledge transfer to internal teams Assist with CI/CD implementation and automation of data platform deployments Skills & Experience You Should Possess 10+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Database Architecture, Data Management, or similar enterprise data-focused roles Extensive experience designing, developing, and implementing Azure-based data solutions Strong expertise with Azure Data Lakes, Azure SQL technologies, and cloud-native database architectures Hands-on experience with Databricks in enterprise environments Strong Oracle Database experience including administration, optimization, and architecture design Experience creating and implementing data transformation solutions and cloud integrations Experience developing scripts and programs to support Azure data loading and processing utilities Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for data platforms Solid knowledge of cloud computing concepts, patterns, and best practices Experience using Azure Monitor, Azure Data Factory, SQL Analytics, Query Performance Insight, Azure Resource Manager, Azure CLI, and PowerShell Strong understanding of access management, encryption, role-based access control, and network security principles Exceptional communication, organizational, and time management skills Proven ability to provide technical guidance and mentor other technology professionals Bonus Points If You Have Experience with Data Warehouse Administration Experience supporting Teradata Data Warehouse environments Expertise with Azure SQL Managed Instances and Elastic Pools Experience implementing enterprise backup and recovery strategies using Azure Backup, Geo-Replication, or equivalent technologies Advanced performance tuning and database optimization expertise Experience working within large-scale enterprise data governance frameworks Background supporting highly regulated or security-focused environments Education & Certifications You Need Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field Equivalent combination of education and extensive professional experience may be considered Microsoft Azure certifications are highly preferred, including: Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate What We Offer At Trissential, we value expertise, innovation, collaboration, and continuous growth.
