Managed cloud infrastructure solutions Role: Copywriter with strong B2B background Location: Remote; US-based Commitment: 40 hours per week, full-time Duration: Initial engagement through end of September, with opportunity to extend based on ongoing need Hourly Rate: $55/hr About the Company Our client is a B2B managed hosting and ecommerce infrastructure company serving customers across three distinct businesses: a self-serve web builder business for small-to-medium businesses growing their online presence, a managed business unit supporting enterprises running cloud solutions, and a performance business unit serving buyers who know exactly what they need and manage the engagement themselves. About the Role There is a significant, immediate volume of short-form content to produce across three business units. This includes hundreds of pieces of content needed to be created before quarter-end, driven by multiple product launches per business unit and ongoing website expansion. Product marketing and SEO teams have defined strategy, positioning, and the content pipeline; what's missing is writers who can take that input and turn it into clear, well-organized, audience-appropriate copy without heavy oversight. The in-house Creative Copy Director is currently managing this volume, and this hire is meant to give this role room to focus on oversight and quality. This is embedded, full-time work (40 hours/week) through the end of the quarter, with possible extension depending on ongoing content needs. Prioritized Responsibilities Write short-form content across formats, including blog posts, nurture emails, website and landing page copy, and case studies (generally under 2,000 words, most shorter) Translate input from product marketing and SEO (positioning, messaging, keyword and content briefs) into clear, audience-appropriate copy without needing to develop strategy independently Write for a range of B2B audiences across the client's three business units, adapting tone and complexity for each buyer type Proactively engage subject matter experts to ask clarifying questions and fill in gaps, rather than guessing or overstating expertise Take feedback and revise efficiently, working to reduce overall revision cycles and editorial burden on the in-house creative director of copy Manage a high volume of concurrent assignments against tight, quarter-end timelines 4-5 years of professional content writing experience, ideally with exposure to B2B tech, SaaS, hosting, or infrastructure subject matter and comfortable with technical concepts (please highlight topics/brands when you apply) Demonstrated ability to write clearly for a B2B buyer audience, translating dense or technical positioning into content that's easy to understand Experience working from creative/content briefs developed by product marketing or SEO teams, rather than independently setting strategy Comfortable operating independently day-to-day, while proactively seeking out subject matter experts and stakeholders when needed Strong collaborator who takes feedback well and integrates it efficiently Reliable and communicative, and someone who shows up consistently, meets deadlines, and flags blockers early Key Characteristics Pedigree: Solid B2B content writing background, ideally touching technical or infrastructure-adjacent subject matter, without requiring deep technical/developer expertise. Passion: Genuinely interested in making dense, technical subject matter clear and approachable for a business audience. Potential: Can operate with a moderate level of guidance — independent enough not to need hand-holding, experienced enough to know when to ask for it. Play: Personable, dependable, and comfortable engaging subject matter experts directly to get what's needed; fits into a fast-moving, collaborative in-house team. Must be available for a few standing team meetings during typical business hours, but as long as deadlines are met and work is going well, you can work a flexible schedule. Portfolio or relevant writing samples are required to be recommended to the client. We Are Rosie provides strategic consulting and talent solutions for the marketing industry.
