Backend Engineer

About the role We are hiring a remote Backend Engineer to build the APIs and distributed services behind our platform. You will own services end to end, from schema design to production operations. What you will do Design and build backend services and APIs in production Model data in PostgreSQL and keep queries fast at scale Operate services on AWS, including monitoring and incident response Collaborate with product engineers on service contracts Must have 4+ years building backend services or APIs in production Strong PostgreSQL or equivalent relational database experience Experience with AWS or another major cloud provider Nice to have Distributed or event-driven architecture experience; Python or Go Location: Remote (United States).
