Backend Engineer - Python A fast-growing fintech startup is scaling its infrastructure to support millions of users across the MENA region. They are building out their backend engineering team to develop secure, high-performance, and scalable systems. You will Develop robust backend systems that are designed for scalability, reliability, and long-term maintainability. Convert product requirements and technical designs into well-structured APIs and backend solutions. Create scalable data models and contribute to defining backend development standards and best practices. Support architectural decisions, technical roadmaps, and integration strategies across the platform. What We're Looking For Experience as a founding engineer or early engineering team member is highly preferred. Strong backend development experience, ideally with Python. Experience with Go or Node.js is also welcomed. GCP experience is a plus Solid problem-solving skills and a strong understanding of system design. Proven ability to take ownership of complex projects from concept to deployment. Compensation & Location AED 26,000–28,000 per month, plus equity. Based in Dubai.
