You’ll be responsible for implementing mathematical models, managing game states, and ensuring secure, scalable communication between client, server, and game platform layers. Your work directly influences game fairness, RTP integrity, and real-time performance . 🧠 Core Responsibilities Develop, optimize, and maintain game server logic for real-money slot titles Implement mathematical models, RNGs, and game simulations based on game designers’ specs Design and support RESTful APIs, WebSocket, or gRPC services for real-time interaction Ensure stability, scalability, and performance of backend systems under high traffic Work with databases, caching layers, and load balancing solutions for optimized performance Integrate third-party systems (payment, analytics, authentication, CRM, etc.) Collaborate closely with client-side engineers, mathematicians, and QA teams to ensure smooth and accurate functionality Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code , following version control and CI/CD best practices 🧮 Key Requirements ✅ 3+ years of professional backend development experience ✅ Strong proficiency in one or more backend languages — Python, Node.js, .NET (C#), or Java ✅ Solid understanding of mathematical logic and ability to implement game math models (RTP, volatility, hit frequency, etc.) ✅ Experience working with RNG systems , simulations, or statistical analysis tools ✅ Familiarity with databases (SQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB, etc.) ✅ Knowledge of REST API design , microservice architecture , and server optimization ✅ Experience with version control (Git) , task tracking systems (Jira, Confluence) , and collaborative workflows ✅ Ability to write unit tests, integration tests , and ensure backend reliability 💡 Nice to Have Experience in iGaming, casino, or slot game development Background in probability theory, combinatorics, or game math modeling Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, or other cloud environments Familiarity with real-time analytics systems (Grafana, Sentry, or similar) Understanding of payment gateways, wallet systems, and player session management Previous work with DevOps pipelines or automated deployment tools 💬 Soft Skills Analytical mindset with strong attention to mathematical and logical accuracy Structured, reliable, and detail-oriented approach to problem-solving Proactive communication and cross-functional collaboration Initiative and ownership over code quality and project delivery Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical team members 🌍 Cultural Fit Passion for game technology, fairness, and performance Collaborative, respectful, and non-toxic work attitude Driven by quality, integrity, and team success Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving production cycle Pro-Ukrainian, socially aware, and supportive of volunteering initiatives 🗣️ Language English — Intermediate+ (B1–B2) or higher.
