Banking and Payroll Consultant (AU Mortgage, WFH)

Schedule: Monday - Friday (06:00 AM - 03:00 PM PHT)

Work Set Up: Work From Home (with once-a-month onsite work at the office)

What will you do?

The Banking & Payroll Consultant provides support to customers with their banking and payroll queries. As a primary point of contact, this role is responsible for handling customer enquiries promptly and accurately, ensuring smooth and seamless interactions. Working closely within a team, the Customer Assist Consultant maintains high service standard to enhance the overall customer experience.

• Outcome Area: Banking & Payroll Support (50%)
• Identify and investigate discrepancies with incoming, outgoing and unexpected transactions
• Reconcile client accounts in Xero ensuring consistency and accuracy across records
• Liaise with internal teams to address discrepancies
• Handle investigations promptly and maintain confidentiality throughout the process
• Handle and respond to customer queries via email and phone as necessary
• Provide banking and payroll support to customers
• Assist customers with setting up accounts and invoicing queries
• Process customer payments
• Ensure all queries are answered promptly and accurately
• Comply with company policies and procedures, adhering to privacy and data security guidelines when communicating with customers
• Comply with financial and taxation guidelines as directed by the Executive Leadership team
• Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions
• Work closely with other Banking & Payroll Consultants and internal teams to manage queries and ensure timely responses to customers
• Escalate complex queries to the relevant internal team members as required
• Coordinate with internal teams to facilitate contract setups, billing and account management processes
• Provide feedback to support overall team efficiency and identify areas for improvement
• Review and utilise Knowledge Hub content
  
  

Skills Required

• 1+ years' experience in a similar role
• Experience in customer service, particularly in the financial services or payroll sector
• Understanding of banking and payroll systems such as Xero
• Outstanding written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and troubleshooting skills
• Collaboration-oriented with the ability to drive results
• Ability to work in a team environment and manage individual tasks effectively.
