About Mood Health At Mood Health, we are working to make mental health care easier to access. For many people, reaching out for help is a big step. Our goal is to make that step feel simple, supportive, and welcoming. Our clinicians, including psychiatric nurse practitioners and therapists, provide therapy and medication management through secure video visits. Before someone ever meets their provider, they usually speak with someone on our team first. That first conversation matters a lot. About the Role We are looking for a Patient Acquisition Specialist within the Sales organization, you’ll be the initial point of contact for prospective patients from our partner clinics. We are looking for someone who is motivated, personable, fast-thinking, and comfortable working toward goals. The right person is not pushy, but they are proactive. They know how to build trust, communicate clearly, and help people move forward when they feel nervous, unsure, or hesitant about starting care. In this role, you will help new clients understand how things work, answer their questions, and guide them toward scheduling their first appointment. If you communicate well, stay organized in a fast-moving environment, and enjoy helping people move forward, you will likely enjoy this role. What You’ll Do Be the first point of contact for new clients Talk with people who are reaching out for mental health support and help them feel comfortable moving forward. Help clients get scheduled Guide people through the booking process. This includes answering questions about availability, insurance, and next steps. Proactively follow up with referrals Use phone, text, email, and customer management tools to connect with referral patients, follow up consistently, and help keep the scheduling process moving. Build trust and overcome barriers Many people feel nervous, uncertain, or overwhelmed when starting mental health care. Your ability to listen, explain things clearly, build rapport, and thoughtfully overcome objections can make all the difference. Manage a high-volume workflow Handle inbound and outbound calls, texts, emails, cancellations, reschedules, and follow-ups while staying organized across multiple systems. Communicate clearly and kindly Work with clients by phone, text, and email in a professional and empathetic way. Work toward team goals This role includes booking targets and performance goals. These goals help ensure that prospective patients receive timely follow-up and that people who are interested in care are supported through the process. Every appointment scheduled represents someone taking a step toward getting help. What We’re Looking For Bilingual Spanish required 1 to 2 years of experience in sales, mental health, call centers, or a customer facing sales role Motivated by reaching and exceeding goals Sales-minded, but not pushy Fast-thinking and adaptable Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Empathetic and comfortable speaking with people who may feel nervous or unsure Organized and able to manage multiple systems and conversations at once Experience with scheduling or support tools such as Hubspot is helpful Familiarity with HIPAA and strong respect for patient privacy Ability to work weekends when needed Why Join Mood You are helping people access care Every appointment you schedule represents someone getting support they may have been putting off for months or years.
