BI Analyst/Analytics Engineer

As a BI Analyst/Analytics Engineer, you'll be responsible for analyzing both current IT systems, architectures, and processes as well as gathering business intelligence to support the organization in achieving our mission. You'll play a critical role in ensuring the client is up to date with the latest technology and has the information we need to make essential data-informed decisions to serve our clients. This role bridges technology infrastructure and business intelligence, serving as a key contributor to the organization's digital transformation and data-driven decision-making initiatives.

RESPONSABILITIES:

IT:

• Analyze IT systems (i.e. SQL, GCP, etc.), data, and business processes to improve and maintain data structures, automations, workflows, and operational efficiencies.
• Evaluate current IT systems, architectures, and technology infrastructure to identify opportunities for optimization, modernization, and enhanced security.
• Maintain/develop support documents and provide training to employees on current and new platforms, technical solutions, and associated procedures.
• Utilize a diverse set of technical tools to deliver solutions such as Alteryx (or other similar data prep/blending tools), Tableau (or other data visualization/BI tools), and low-code tools (e.g. Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate).
• Partner with vendors to ensure employee laptops are supported through the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software components for system availability and reliability.
• Provide day-to-day production support, including application workflow configurations and break/fix resolutions. Integrate and navigate multiple systems and databases to support the needs of various teams, including enterprise-wide projects and process changes.
• Maintain awareness of evolving technologies and tools and suggest incremental improvements to systems and processes.
• Manage hardware procurement and inventory tracking. Participate in security enhancement initiatives and ensure compliance with data protection standards.

Data:

• Gather, analyze, and interpret data from multiple sources, including HubSpot, Smartsheet, Tableau, and other enterprise platforms.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytics tools that provide actionable insights for leadership and key stakeholders.
• Analyze client engagement data, utilization patterns, and program effectiveness metrics to support business decision-making.
• Support the development of analytics platforms and reporting capabilities, leveraging AI-driven tools to enhance reporting and insight generation.
• Translate business questions into analytic frameworks through comprehensive data analysis and deliver meaningful recommendations.
• Provide guidance and support as the organization advances toward predictive analytics capabilities.
• Solicit, evaluate, and analyze complex business requirements against industry best practices to develop solutions that align with the organization's unique needs and objectives.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Advanced proficiency in spoken and written English, with the ability to clearly communicate technical information, ask clarifying questions, and understand reported issues from internal stakeholders and end users.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant work experience.
• 3+ years of data analysis, BI solution development, application administration/configuration, and/or application development
• Strong understanding of enterprise application and data management strategies to ensure technical solutions designed are scalable and optimized to deliver a seamless digital user journey
• Experience in database design, stored procedures, functions and/or views, implementation, maintenance, data migration, and Object/Relational Mapping
• A proven ability to work with both business and technical stakeholders to elicit/understand requirements, define the high-level business case the solution provides, lead architectural design sessions, define implementation approaches and guide customers’ decision making to ensure implemented solutions are sustainable
• Ability to leverage a diverse set of technical tools to deliver solutions including low-code/no-code/ ” Citizen Developer” tools
• An understanding of HIPAA Compliance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience working with Azure Stack Hub
• Experience working with MS Forms, Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint, Features, Event Handlers, etc.
• Experience working with data prep tools such as Alteryx or Tableau Prep
• Experience working with BI tools such as Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, or Yellowfin

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

This role supports U.S.-based teams and requires availability during U.S. business hours. The expected schedule aligns with 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Central Time. Occasional on-call support may be required for critical issues.
