Major offices in Sweden (HQ), Greece, India, Canada, Israel, Poland, UK, and Uruguay. The Role We are looking for an experienced Business Intelligence Developer to join our BI team in Athens. In this role, you will help shape how data is used across the organization by building reliable, high-performing analytics solutions and enabling better, faster decision-making. You will work at the intersection of data engineering and business analysis—developing BI applications, improving data models, and collaborating closely with stakeholders across the business. This is a hands-on role where you will also support and mentor junior team members while contributing to technical improvements across our BI landscape. What you will do Build BI solutions: Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards and applications using Qlik Sense and Looker to support business decision-making. Design data models & ETL flows: Create efficient, scalable data models and ETL processes that ensure reliable and well-structured data. Work with SQL: Write and optimize advanced SQL queries to transform and extract data from multiple sources. Collaborate with stakeholders: Translate business questions into clear data requirements and meaningful KPIs. Improve performance & reliability: Monitor and optimize data loads, refresh processes, and overall system performance. Support modern tooling: Use AI-assisted tools to improve development speed, query optimization, and documentation. Work with version control: Manage and maintain codebases using Git, following best practices. Mentor others: Support and guide junior BI developers, sharing knowledge and best practices. Take ownership: Contribute to improving BI processes, tools, and ways of working across the team. Requirements Technical skills & experience Around 4 years of experience in BI development, data modeling, or analytics engineering Strong hands-on experience with Qlik Sense or Looker Expert-level SQL skills, including query optimization and complex transformations Experience or exposure to data transformation tools such as dbt and/or platforms like Dremio is a plus Familiarity with Git and version control workflows Experience using AI tools to improve development efficiency is highly valued Degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or similar) Soft skills Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written) Structured, analytical, and detail-oriented approach to problem solving Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment Curiosity and willingness to understand complex and evolving data environments Collaborative mindset with a proactive attitude toward learning and improvement Benefits We are looking for people who would make the world smaller for travelers but want a bigger world of opportunities for themselves.
