BI Engineers

UpcoMinds is looking for experienced Power BI Engineers to join a high-impact Microsoft Power Platform transformation project.

As part of a multidisciplinary team of Data Engineers, Solution Architects, Business Analysts, and Software Engineers, you will design, develop, and deliver modern data analytics solutions, business applications, and process automation using the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Power BI Developers

• Design and extend enterprise Data Warehouse (DWH) structures, including new tables and data models.
• Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for integrating data from multiple enterprise systems.
• Build semantic models, data marts, and optimized datasets.
• Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards and executive reports.
• Ensure data quality, performance optimization, and reporting scalability.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate reporting requirements into analytical solutions.

Power Apps Engineers

• Design, develop, and maintain business applications using Microsoft Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven Apps).
• Automate business processes using Power Automate.
• Integrate Power Apps with Microsoft 365, Dataverse, SQL Server, SharePoint, APIs, and other enterprise systems.
• Participate in solution architecture, application lifecycle management, and deployment.
• Deliver user-friendly applications that improve operational efficiency and business productivity.
• Collaborate with functional teams to gather requirements and implement innovative digital solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Microsoft Power Platform technologies.
• Strong experience with Power BI development.
• Experience with Power Automate and Dataverse is considered an asset.
• Experience in SQL development, data modelling, and ETL processes.
• Experience working with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Platform, or Databricks is highly desirable.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with both business and technical teams.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Experience in digital transformation projects will be considered a strong advantage.
