Bilingual Collections Specialist (English/Spanish) Location: Fort Worth, TX Work Arrangement: Hybrid (4 days onsite, 1 day remote after training and performance review) Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire Pay Rate: $26.00/hour About the Opportunity We are seeking a Bilingual Collections Specialist to join a growing financial services team. This role is ideal for individuals who excel at customer communication, problem-solving, and account resolution. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing early-stage delinquent accounts, helping customers identify payment solutions, and delivering a positive customer experience while meeting performance goals. Key Responsibilities Contact customers regarding past-due accounts through inbound and outbound calls. Negotiate payment arrangements and secure payment commitments while maintaining a customer-focused approach. Resolve delinquent accounts in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Conduct account research and locate updated customer information using approved resources. Document customer interactions and account activity accurately within multiple systems. Required Qualifications Fluent in English and Spanish (reading, writing, and speaking). High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum of 1 year of telephone-based collections experience . Experience collecting on auto loans, credit cards, mortgages, or other consumer credit products preferred. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred. Previous experience in financial services, lending, automotive finance, or related industries. Experience managing high-volume call environments. Training & Work Schedule Comprehensive training program combining classroom instruction and hands-on learning Approximately one month of training, including a nesting period Training schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Hybrid work schedule available following successful completion of training and performance review Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Worth, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $26.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
