Bilingual Lien Negotiations Specialist (Personal Injury)

We are hiring a Bilingual Lien Negotiations Specialist to support Personal Injury cases with a strong focus on lien resolution, negotiation with medical providers and insurers, case documentation, and settlement coordination. This is a full-time remote position working with U.S. law firms.

IMPORTANT: Only candidates with prior experience negotiating liens on Personal Injury cases in a U.S. law firm or legal services company will be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Negotiate medical liens, subrogation claims, and outstanding balances with hospitals, providers, insurance companies, and collection agencies
• Review case files to determine lien validity and negotiate reductions to maximize client settlements
• Communicate with clients regarding lien status, documentation needs, and next steps
• Maintain communication with medical providers, Medicare/Medicaid representatives, insurance companies, and third-party payers
• Track deadlines, outstanding tasks, and lien resolution milestones to ensure timely follow-up
• Review, organize, and upload lien-related documents and records into the CMS
• Prepare lien resolution letters, settlement statements, and case correspondence
• Coordinate with attorneys and case managers on settlement disbursement
• Work with time tracker (Hubstaff)

Required Experience & Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in lien negotiation within Personal Injury law
• Prior experience in a U.S. law firm or legal services company
• Experience handling medical liens, medical records, and client communication
• Fluent English and Spanish (spoken and written)
• JD / attorney background preferred, but not required
• Strong negotiation skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage repetitive, detail-heavy work efficiently
• Strong communication skills with clients, providers, and legal staff
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Legal software experience preferred: Filevine, Clio, Litify, Intermedia, Elevate, or similar CMS

Compensation & Benefits:

• $7/hour
