The wage for the Bilingual Medical Receptionist is $17.50 per hour. Health, dental, and vision insurance A 401(k) plan with company match Paid time off (PTO) and holidays Flexible spending accounts (FSAs) Employee wellness programs Career development opportunities Responsibilities Some of what you will be doing: You will answer a high volume of inbound calls; transfer and directs calls; provide exceptional customer service via telephone You’ll be responsible for all front office patient coordination; to be completed in a timely manner (e.g. appointment scheduling, transport coordination) Communicate clearly and effectively (both oral and written) with patients, clients, Team Members, peers and Leadership. Accurately input data into both Carenet and EMR (Electronic Medical Records) databases Answer all inquiries from patients, customers and third party vendors; provide clinic directions / hours of operation Contact health plans and verifies patient insurance information You will be making a difference in someone’s life Why Carenet? Qualifications We want you to be successful, so these are some of the qualifications required: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required Healthcare experience and experience with scheduling appointments and EMR and EHR (Electronic Medical/Health Records) databases (medical assistant, medical front office) Strong computer experience (data entry, screen navigation, keyboarding), including working in an Electronic Medical Record or Electronic Health Records Experience with Microsoft Outlook (email) and Word Excellent oral and written communication skills Excellent demonstration of caring, empathy, and compassion Bilingual in English and Spanish Able to provide 2 monitors with 22 inch monitor at least Additional Information Note: Completion of assessments may be required before an applicant can move forward.
