Primarily responsible for verification of documents of residential mortgage applications from new loan inception to instructions to lawyers and notaries. In addition to preparing and processing all mortgage-related transactions and documents, this position requires a high degree of efficiency and organization. Position Responsibilities: Review documents submitted by the Mortgage Specialist to ensure the file is in good order and all conditions have been met. Set up and administer new mortgage business and process the related financial transactions. Address routine queries from internal partners. Apply strong decision making and problem-solving skills to resolve situations, influence decisions and maintain strong accountability with respect to workload and responsiveness so that expectations and standards are met or surpassed within a timely manner. Contribute to and support the team in meeting urgent deadlines and unexpected increased volumes. Promptly respond and resolve inquiries. Create and maintain strong team collaborative working relationships with internal departments by providing excellent customer service. Identify continuous improvement opportunities and share ideas for improvements and efficiencies and assist with implementation. Ensure escalated complaint investigations consider customer experience. Follow Bank policies and standards for required information, supporting documentation and processes to discharge a mortgage Required Qualifications: Fully bilingual (French/English): The successful candidate will be required to communicate in English and French in order to support clients from various jurisdictions outside of Quebec. General knowledge of residential mortgage business and mortgage underwriting practices an asset Sound knowledge of MS Office programs, such as Word, Excel, Outlook Previous Banking experience is an asset Excellent customer service skills Strong interpersonal skills Proven organization and time management skills Preferred Qualifications: Strong attention to detail Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Referenced Salary Location CAN, Quebec - Full Time Remote Working Arrangement Remote Salary range is expected to be between $45,900.00 CAD - $76,500.00 CAD Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
