Job Title: Bilingual Pharmacy Technician Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and bilingual pharmacy technician who will be the primary point of contact for home dialysis customers. This role is crucial in delivering exceptional service and support, ensuring a positive customer experience. The main responsibilities include order placement, resolving customer inquiries, and prescription management. The successful candidate will collaborate with internal teams to meet customer needs while upholding service quality, efficiency, and departmental goals. Responsibilities Process customer orders via telephone accurately and efficiently while ensuring compliance within pharmacy regulations. Obtain and verify customer information, including product quantities and usage on prescriptions. Ensure all patient-related interactions adhere to HIPAA regulations. Resolve customer questions, complaints, and service issues by identifying root causes and recommending appropriate solutions. Investigate and track product shipments, using the UPS website and liaising with the transportation team. Coordinate with internal departments to expedite shipments, release, or find alternatives for back-ordered items to ensure timely deliveries. Process customer returns and request credits in line with company policies and procedures. Collaborate with other departments such as Routing, Transportation, Sales, and Credit & Collections to resolve customer issues and provide a cohesive customer experience. Meet established performance expectations related to quality, adherence, order accuracy, and service level standards. Adapt to changing business needs and customer requirements. Maintain the ability to work remotely using a reliable high-speed wired internet connection. Support business operations by working a flexible schedule within the Customer Care operating hours of 7:00 am to 6:00 pm CST, with a closing shift required until all customer calls have been answered. Essential Skills Pharmacy technician certification and license. Bilingual in Spanish and English (writing/speaking). Experience in a call center, preferably in a clinical or pharmacy setting. Strong home WiFi and a HIPAA-compliant workspace. Ability to work independently and handle high call volumes, with the department averaging 2000 calls/day. Attention to detail, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and organizational skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Background working with dialysis medications/patients is a plus. Strong customer (patient) engagement and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining a professional and empathetic demeanor. Proficiency with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and TEAMS. Minimum of 2-4 years of call center experience in a clinical setting. High school diploma or equivalent GED required; an associate's or bachelor’s degree preferred. Work Environment This is a 100% remote role, requiring a HIPAA-compliant workspace at home. Candidates must have a strong home WiFi connection and cannot connect to hotspots. Work hours are Monday to Friday, with availability needed from 7 am to 6 pm CST. A set schedule will be provided, likely between 9 am-5 pm or 10 am-6 pm, and employees are expected to work 8-hour shifts, ensuring all calls in the queue are answered before signing off for the day. Training will last approximately 6 weeks and will be conducted remotely, with hours from 8 am-4 pm or 8:30 am-4:30 pm. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.67 - $21.15/hr.
