As the Senior Regional Sales Consultant you will be responsible to enhance Life insurance product sales within your assigned region. You will train, coach, motivate and support various distribution channels and business units in developing plans to achieve sales targets. How you will create impact: Promoting a full range of Life Insurance solutions to Advisors and Managing General Agent (MGA) partners. Providing proactive sales and business building ideas, understanding Advisor goals, and aligning their needs with our insurance solutions. Managing sales growth and fostering positive business relationships within the defined region. Monitoring and measuring competitive products, processes, technology, and marketing tools to fulfill the needs of Advisor clients and recommending changes to improve sales and service practices. Participating in seminars, trade shows and meetings to enhance awareness of CUMIS Life products, including staying current with industry trends, product changes and Credit Union markets. How you will succeed: You remain focused and optimistic in the pursuit of a goal, despite barriers, until the objective is achieved and allocate time and resources to effectively manage the sales portfolio. You successfully build plans focused on expanding market penetration and apply an innovative mindset to improve operational efficiencies, with a client centric lens. You have strong communication skills to influence or persuade others to adopt a specific course of action and can effectively facilitate mutually beneficial solutions. You build trusting relationships and provide guidance to support the development of peers. To join our team: You have five years of experience in Life insurance sales. You have a post-secondary diploma in a related field. You have a Life license and hold the Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) or Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation(s). Having the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) certificate is an asset. You have expert knowledge of the Life insurance industry and Life insurance sales products. Having a strong understanding of the Income Tax Act and working knowledge of investments, trusts, capital markets and retirement and benefits plans is an asset. Proficiency in both English and French is essential to the main duties in this role, including servicing and communicating primarily with majority anglophone and francophone clients, groups, and teams. The essential non-French duties are not assignable to adjacent or other team members. What you need to know: You will travel regularly. Extended work hours, including evenings and weekends, may be required. You will be subject to a Background check as a condition of employment, in the event you are the successful candidate. Expected salary $79,954 - $133,257. This role is eligible to participate in a sales incentive plan for additional compensation with an annual target of 20% The salary amount for the successful candidate is determined by Co-operators in its discretion and will vary depending on several criteria including but not limited to: local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualification, experience and education. Employees may also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn additional compensation tied to individual and/or business performance, or other business metrics. #LI-JL2
