Billing Analyst

JOB SUMMARY: Our collaborative and dynamic Finance group is responsible for the billing and transactions with customers in accordance with US GAAP and internal policies/procedures. In this role, you will work individually and cross-functionally on a range of items that impact our customers directly and indirectly. As customers expand or contract in size you will be responsible for working with the customer on maintaining correct billing, accounts, and up to date payment information. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES: Process billing changes to customer accounts through our CRM. Reconcile customer payments and deposits on a daily basis. Maintain and update monthly transactional billing files and supporting documentation. Research and resolve internal and external inquiries related to account status and billing. Perform operational accounting activities for month-end and year-end. Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely issue resolution. Prioritize and schedule work activities to ensure established targets are achieved. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned. REQUIREMENTS : Excellent written/verbal communication skills. Strong focus on customer satisfaction. Demonstrated analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability to successfully manage/execute multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to resolve issues with a sense of urgency while maintaining professionalism and accuracy. QUALIFICATIONS : EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or related field preferred. EXPERIENCE: 2-4 years of experience with billing and accounting functions . Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel ( i.e. vlookup , pivot tables, etc.). Some experience with NetSuite and/or Salesforce preferred but not required . Experience working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, diverse and dynamic environment .
