Billing Operations Manager

Raventra Health is a medical services company providing outsourced billing, coding, and claims processing solutions for provider groups and hospitals. As a Billing Operations Manager, you will oversee billing operations for assigned provider and hospital clients, ensuring claims are prepared and submitted accurately and efficiently. You will lead billing teams, monitor performance, resolve operational issues, and work with other revenue cycle functions to support timely reimbursement. WHAT YOU WILL DO Oversee daily billing operations for assigned provider and hospital accounts Lead and support billing team members, including workload coordination and performance management Monitor claim submission volume, billing accuracy, turnaround times, and other operational metrics Review billing workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce errors Coordinate with coding, claims, payment posting, AR, and denials teams to resolve billing issues Investigate recurring claim errors and implement corrective actions to prevent future issues Support client escalations and communicate billing-related updates and resolutions to internal stakeholders Develop and maintain billing procedures, process documentation, and quality standards Provide training, coaching, and ongoing guidance to billing team members Prepare operational reports and communicate billing performance, risks, and improvement opportunities to leadership WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR 3+ years of experience in medical billing, revenue cycle management, or healthcare operations Experience leading or supervising a medical billing team Strong understanding of healthcare billing, claim submission, payer requirements, and reimbursement processes Experience monitoring billing productivity, quality, and turnaround-time metrics Strong knowledge of CMS-1500 and UB-04 claim forms and electronic claims submission Ability to investigate billing issues and identify root causes Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple client accounts and operational priorities Ability to work independently and effectively in a fully remote environment HIPAA-compliant private workspace NICE TO HAVE CPB, CPC, or other relevant healthcare revenue cycle certification Experience with Epic, Athena, eClinicalWorks, or another major billing or practice management system Experience working with multiple payer types Experience with denials, appeals, or accounts receivable processes Experience working with provider groups or hospitals Experience in outsourced RCM or multi-client healthcare operations COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS Compensation will be discussed during the interview and will reflect the candidate’s experience, qualifications, certifications, and relevant healthcare revenue cycle expertise.
