The Billing Specialist will support the Accounting & Finance Department by performing accounting functions related to client billings and systems administration. Prepare client invoices with appropriate supporting documentation. Finalize and distribute statements to owners after approval of the Project Manager. Review owner contracts to ensure billing compliance. Initiate new job setup in various accounting systems. Draft journal entries for job cost transfers as needed. Audit project costs to ensure contract compliance. Complete budget imports from project management software to accounting ERP. Input change orders, job contract details from project management software to accounting ERP. Assist in ad hoc reporting (advanced knowledge of excel queries and pivot tables) for both internal and external customers. Assist accounts payable as needed. Qualifications An individual must have a four-year college degree in Business with a major in accounting, 3 to 5 years' experience. Construction accounting preferred but not required. Demonstrated communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Detail-oriented and strong follow-up skills. Self-motivated and passionate about delivering exceptional client service. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, Procore, AIA, Timberline (Sage 300), Dropbox, and iOS devices as well as other cloud storage services. Benefits $27.73 - $34.75 per hour.
