Billing Specialist

Altus Receivables Management is seeking Temporary First Party Collectors as we continue to grow our team! First Party Collectors collect payments or communicate/resolve issues from debtors. This is a temporary position lasting six to nine months and requires someone who can quickly become proficient in new processes and systems. While comprehensive training will be provided on core responsibilities, candidates must be comfortable working through situations that may not be specifically covered in training. Success in this role depends on having strong common sense, critical thinking skills, and the confidence to make informed decisions when facing new challenges. *This position is a remote position for candidates residing and working in the U.S.* Job Responsibilities: Upload and process invoices through multiple customer and vendor portals. Navigate various online platforms, each with unique processes and requirements. Ensure invoices are submitted accurately and within required deadlines. Identify and resolve issues independently when unexpected situations arise. Follow established procedures while adapting to new scenarios as needed. Job Requirements: Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong reading comprehension and documentation skills. Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly. Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision. Good problem-solving skills and sound judgment. Ability to adapt to changing procedures and requirements.
