Billing Specialist Contractor

Salary Range: $20.00 To $30.00 Hourly Remote FT (Pacific Time Zone) Antonyan Miranda, LLP is hiring a Billing Specialist to manage legal billing, client payments, and collections. This position may be full-time or part-time and will be performed primarily remotely, with weekly management check-in. What You’ll Do Manage the full billing cycle, from WIP reports and pre-bills through final invoices. Monitor client accounts and payment activity daily. Communicate with clients regarding invoices, balances, and payment arrangements. Follow up consistently on outstanding balances. Investigate and resolve billing issues. Maintain accurate notes, records, and account information. Work closely with attorneys, management, and the finance team. Assist with accounts payable and other accounting projects as needed. What We’re Looking For Legal billing or law firm experience preferred. Collections or accounts-receivable experience is a plus. Excellent telephone manner and client-service skills. Strong writing, organization, and time-management skills. High attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Comfort learning new technology and billing systems. Empathy, patience, professionalism, and sound judgment. Ability to handle confidential information appropriately. High school diploma or equivalent required. Compensation based on experience.
