● Identify improvements and new solutions to bioinformatics workflows and processes.
● Document analysis workflows and statistical methods for long-term reproducibility of analysis results.
Essential experience
● A PhD, MSc or equivalent qualification in Bioinformatics or relevant work experience.
● Proven hands-on experience analysing large-scale biological datasets including proteomics/transcriptomics/genomics.
● Comfortable with production-quality, tested, modular Python and contributing to collaborative projects.
● Experience documenting analysis workflows including writing SOPs, and preparing reports for clear communication of bioinformatic methods and results.
● Knowledge of version control and deployment practices including Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and controlled releases.
