About the Opportunity
This opportunity is for experienced Biologists with expertise in molecular biology, cell biology, gene editing, and wet lab research to contribute to advanced AI research and evaluation projects. You'll apply your scientific knowledge to evaluate expert-level biological content and help improve the accuracy, reasoning, and performance of next-generation AI systems.
No prior AI experience is required. Your scientific expertise and research experience are the primary qualifications for success in this role. Professionals with hands-on CRISPR and molecular biology experience are especially encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
• Design, optimize, and evaluate CRISPR-based gene editing workflows and experimental strategies.
• Apply expertise in molecular biology, cell biology, and genetics to assess scientific content and AI-generated outputs.
• Perform and evaluate cloning, genotyping, PCR-based assays, DNA/RNA sequence analysis, and molecular screening methodologies.
• Design and review synthetic DNA/RNA sequences and high-throughput screening strategies.
• Analyze molecular mechanisms, cellular organization, organelle function, and genetic modifications.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to translate experimental findings and biological data into structured formats for AI training and evaluation.
• Document experimental procedures, methodologies, and results with exceptional scientific rigor and clarity.
• Provide structured feedback to improve AI-generated biological content, scientific reasoning, and data quality.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biology, Genetics, Biotechnology, or a related Life Sciences discipline.
• Strong hands-on experience with CRISPR technology, gene editing, cloning, genotyping, and PCR-based assays.
• Expertise in molecular biology techniques, DNA/RNA sequence analysis, and cellular biology.
• Experience working in wet lab research environments.
• Excellent analytical, scientific reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to scientific detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
• Master's degree or PhD in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Genetics, Biotechnology, or a related field.
• Experience developing or evaluating rubrics, scientific assessment frameworks, or quality review processes.
• Familiarity with AI training workflows, data annotation, dataset development, or AI model evaluation.
• Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary or remote scientific teams.
• Background in genomics, biotechnology, synthetic biology, or high-throughput screening.
• Experience translating complex biological concepts into educational, technical, or research-focused content.
Compensation
• Competitive compensation of $70–$90/hour.
