• How many years of Blue Card configuration and maintenance experience do you have, and which core system(s) — HRP, Facets, QNXT, or other?
• Beyond front-end benefit configuration, do you have backend/technical experience — such as system architecture, backend integration, or building configuration logic from scratch — rather than working solely within front-end configuration tools?
• Have you done any hands-on ITS transaction coding or development work, or has your BlueCard experience been focused on configuration/testing while a separate technical team handled backend/ITS coding?
• Can you describe a production issue you diagnosed and resolved involving Blue Card claims configuration — specifically, did that involve backend/technical troubleshooting, or was it primarily front-end configuration adjustment?

Description:

• Our client needs a true technical Lead SME, not just someone with front-end benefit configuration experience. They're looking for backend/architecture-level depth (system integration, ITS coding/development), so please only send candidates who can speak confidently to that technical side, not just configuration and testing.
• We're hiring a BlueCard Configuration & Production Support Lead to own Blue Card configuration within HealthRules Payor (HRP), supporting a major go-live and post-go-live stabilization.

What you'll do:

• Own BlueCard configuration activities end-to-end — including backend configuration logic and system integration, not just front-end benefit setup — serve as the primary escalation point for production issues, diagnose and resolve configuration defects impacting claims processing, and support knowledge transfer as HealthEdge transitions off the program.

What you need:

• 7+ years healthcare payer experience
• 5+ years BlueCard experience
• 5+ years HRP experience OR 5–10+ years with Facets, QNXT, or similar core systems (HRP strongly preferred, not required)
• Strong technical/backend depth — this is not a front-end benefit configuration role. The client needs someone comfortable working at the system architecture/backend integration level, not solely within front-end configuration tools (e.g., Benefits Designer-type interfaces)
• Experience with ITS transaction coding/development is a plus
• Experience supporting large-scale payer implementations and go-lives
• Prior consulting or managed services experience strongly preferred

Important: This is a true consulting engagement supporting a critical go-live — expect hours beyond standard 8-hour days/40-hour weeks, especially around the October 1st go-live and hypercare period.
