Your Responsibilities Will Include: Manage the entire design process of each project to ensure that it links with the overall strategy of how the project is to be delivered Produce point schedules, equipment schedules, Network topologies and Description of Operations Take responsibility for all equipment procurement Ensure full engagement with the respective Project Manager and understand the time frame to deliver each design task/element to meet the project programme Work to tight deadlines and budgets, maintaining high standards throughout Interpret electrical drawings, control schematics and MEP drawings confidently and accurately Providing technical support and maintaining a professional, customer-focused approach What We’re Looking For: Positive and proactive approach to Health & Safety Familiarity with the Trend or Schneider StruxureWare systems preferably but also Siemens, Tridium or Distech, as training can be provided for the right candidate Demonstrable experience as a BMS Design Engineer, ideally with some knowledge around metering and third-party interfacing Demonstrable experience with understanding air, hydraulic and electrical systems Proficiency in reading electrical & control wiring diagrams Good ability to maintain records, trackers and reports Strong teamworking and communication skills Excellent attention to detail and a quality-first attitude Flexibility to travel to sites across Central London and nearby areas, when required What We Offer: Competitive salary, reflective of your experience Generous bonus scheme Company car (including fully electric vehicles) or monthly car allowance Overtime opportunities 25 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays 6% employer pension contribution Private medical insurance (BUPA) Life assurance (4x annual salary) CycleScheme (up to £5000) Employee ownership after 12 months Department Major Projects Locations Central London Remote status Hybrid About BMSI BMSI is the UK’s largest & leading Independent systems integrator of Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS).
