The company is looking for an experienced Part-Time Director to strengthen governance, regulatory oversight, and strategic decision-making at a critical stage of growth. 💼 About the Role The company is looking for an experienced Part-Time Director to strengthen governance, regulatory oversight, and strategic decision-making at a critical stage of growth. This is a high-impact opportunity for a senior professional with strong financial services, compliance, regulatory, or governance experience. You will work closely with the executive team, support the company’s licensing journey, and contribute to long-term strategic development in one of the fastest-moving areas of European finance. 🔍 Responsibilities: Act as a Board-level advisor on governance, strategy, regulatory matters, and business performance; Support the company through the MiCA licensing process , including regulatory readiness, documentation, and governance structure; Provide oversight of compliance with Polish financial regulations and EU crypto-asset regulatory requirements ; Represent the company before regulators and external stakeholders when required; Review Board-level KPIs, financial performance, operational risks, and strategic priorities; Advise the CEO and senior leadership team on regulatory, corporate, and market-related matters; Contribute to decisions around product strategy, European expansion, risk management, and business growth; Strengthen internal governance standards, accountability, reporting lines, and decision-making processes; Build trusted relationships with regulators, industry partners, and key market stakeholders. 🎓 Requirements: Permanent residence in Poland ; Fluent Polish and English ; Minimum 2 years of senior management experience within financial services, FinTech, payments, crypto, banking, or another regulated environment; Strong understanding of governance, regulatory compliance, risk management, and Board-level accountability ; Previous Board, Director, or senior leadership experience in a regulated company is highly preferred; Excellent professional reputation, with no adverse records, sanctions, or issues that could affect regulatory approval; Strong strategic thinking, commercial awareness, and ability to support business growth in a regulated environment; Knowledge of crypto, digital assets, MiCA, AML, or virtual asset operations is a strong advantage. 🤝 Key Competencies: Strong strategic thinking and decision-making skills; Board-level leadership and governance mindset; Strong regulatory and risk awareness; Commercial awareness and business-oriented approach; Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; High level of integrity, accountability, and professional judgement. ✨ The Employer offers: Flexible part-time engagement (Approx 6h per week) with the potential to expand into a broader role after MiCA approval; Competitive compensation package with possible B2B service extension; Direct influence on the company’s regulatory, governance, and strategic direction ; Opportunity to join a high-growth crypto FinTech at a key stage of European expansion; Remote-friendly setup with occasional in-person Board meetings; Close cooperation with an ambitious leadership team and experienced industry professionals; A front-row role in the evolving European digital finance and crypto-assets market.
