Role Description The Bookkeeper role is a full-time remote position responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting day-to-day accounting operations. Key responsibilities include recording and reconciling transactions, preparing and updating general ledger accounts, and assisting with the production of periodic financial statements. The role also involves managing accounts payable and receivable, monitoring cash flow, and ensuring proper documentation for audits and compliance. The Bookkeeper will collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide clear financial information that supports data-driven decision-making and efficient business operations.
Qualifications

• Strong bookkeeping skills, including experience with journal entries (accounting) and general ledger maintenance.
• Ability to prepare, review, and interpret financial statements and related financial reports.
• Proficiency with accounting software and related finance tools, with the capacity to learn new systems quickly.
• Solid understanding of finance principles and basic accounting practices.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to accuracy and timely work.
• Comfort working remotely, managing priorities independently, and communicating clearly with distributed teams.
• Prior experience in real estate, professional services, or a similar industry is beneficial.
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
