This is a Remote Job We are seeking a full-time Bookkeeper and Financial Administrative Assistant to support a religious nonprofit organization and its affiliated entities. This role focuses on maintaining accurate financial records, supporting compliance-related activities, and providing reliable administrative support in collaboration with leadership and an external CPA. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in environments that require structure, follow-through, and independent problem-solving. Key Responsibilities • Manage and reconcile financial records using QuickBooks Online • Maintain accurate separation of financials across multiple entities • Coordinate directly with organizational leadership to clarify monthly transactions • Prepare basic internal financial reports and support external CPA requests • Organize and document financial files and back-office processes • Assist with compliance-related tasks and communication with regulatory bodies • Support budgeting, grant, and property-related documentation as needed Requirements • 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping and administrative support (non-profit experience is a plus) • Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online • Experience using Google Workspace tools • Excellent organizational, communication, and follow-up skills • Ability to manage tasks independently with minimal supervision • Comfortable working in ambiguous or evolving environments • Availability for full-time work (40 hours per week) with some U.S. time zone overlap Benefits • Remote work • Full-time, long-term role • Supportive team environment
