Job Description: Job Title Branch Operations Analyst Corporate Title Analyst Location Santa Ana, CA Overview As a Branch Operations Analyst within Document Custody Operations, you will play a critical role in safeguarding mortgage collateral assets, maintaining operational controls, and supporting the delivery of high-quality custody services to internal stakeholders, clients, investors, and regulatory agencies. You will serve as a trusted operational resource responsible for ensuring activities are executed accurately, in compliance with established procedures, and in alignment with risk management and audit expectations, while developing subject matter expertise in one or more areas of Document Custody Operations. In this capacity, you will provide guidance, oversight, and support for complex transactions, process improvements, and operational initiatives, directly contributing to operational excellence, regulatory compliance, client satisfaction, and the protection of the Bank’s reputation. This role offers exposure to a broad range of custody functions, including document intake and certification, collateral file maintenance, imaging and records management, authorized signer validation, release and transfer processing, investor reporting support, exception management, quality control reviews, audit preparation, and client-facing operational activities. You will analyze and resolve operational issues, perform detailed research, validate documentation against established requirements, coordinate with business partners and vendors, help ensure work is completed accurately and within service level expectations, and, as you gain experience, support peers through training, process improvements, operational governance, and risk management activities that strengthen the overall control environment. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications.
