Business Analysis Associate

Adaptfy is growing! We are looking for a Business Analysis Associate with 3+ years of experience, to join our Data and Analytics team in Porto. What you will do Work closely with clients to understand their business needs, challenges, and strategic goals. Conduct workshops, interviews, and stakeholder meetings to gather and document requirements. Analyze data to uncover business process trends, identify inefficiencies, and highlight opportunities for improvement, shaping data-driven problem statements. Act as a liaison between business teams and data analytics professionals, ensuring seamless communication and alignment. Develop Functional Design Documents (FDDs) and business use cases to support solution design and implementation. Work collaboratively with internal data analytics teams to design, test, and refine analytics solutions. Partner with clients to facilitate the adoption of analytics solutions and provide guidance on implementation strategies. Analyze large and complex data sets to uncover business trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities. Perform data quality checks to ensure completeness, accuracy, and consistency. Map key performance indicators (KPIs) and assess their relevance to business objectives. Identify patterns, anomalies, and insights that help solve business problems. Manage stakeholder expectations effectively and build strong, trust-based relationships. Leverage strong storytelling skills to craft compelling presentations to communicate findings and recommendations. Present insights to stakeholders at various organizational levels. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business, technology, analytics, and project management offices. What you’ll bring 3+ years of experience in business analysis, data analytics, or consulting. Strong business acumen with a consulting mindset and the ability to think strategically. Solid understanding of financial statements and experience in deriving insights from financial data. Excellent problem-solving skills and quantitative aptitude. Strong data analysis skills, including the ability to work with large, complex datasets. Expertise in MS PowerPoint and storytelling, with the ability to present ideas and insights effectively. Ability to collaborate with stakeholders across multiple functions, including business, technology, analytics, and PMO. Strong communication skills (oral and written) with fluency in English. Awareness of Data & Analytics trends, including BI, reporting, data science, and AI. Willingness to travel as needed for client projects. Basic to intermediate proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation. Knowledge of Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
