Project Description
Join Hiredbuddy as a remote Entry-Level Business Analyst. You will help gather and interpret business requirements, support process documentation, and assist in data-driven decision-making. Ideal for analytical minds eager to grow in a collaborative, dynamic environment.
Full Description
We are looking for a motivated Entry-Level Business Analyst to join our remote team at Hiredbuddy. In this role, you will work closely with senior analysts, product managers, and stakeholders to help identify business needs, translate them into clear deliverables, and support the continuous improvement of our services. This is an excellent opportunity to build a strong foundation in business analysis while working on impactful projects in a supportive, learning-oriented environment.
As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the analysis of business processes, gathering and documenting requirements, and assisting in the design and implementation of solutions. You will help create reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators and present findings to stakeholders. You will also assist in user acceptance testing, ensure clear communication between technical and non-technical roles, and contribute to the development of process improvement initiatives.
You will use a variety of tools and methodologies in your daily work. We expect you to be comfortable working with Microsoft Excel, SQL, and basic visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau. Experience with project management tools such as JIRA or Trello is a plus. You will also be introduced to Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies, so a willingness to learn and adapt is essential.
At Hiredbuddy, we value curiosity, accuracy, and collaboration. As part of your role, you will be encouraged to ask critical thinking, ask questions, and absorb feedback to continuously improve your analytical skills. You will receive mentoring from senior team members and have access to structured professional development resources.
You will participate in full lifecycle project work: from initial discovery and requirements elicitation, through gap analysis, to testing and supporting implementation. This will involve writing clear documentation including user stories, business cases, and sign-off documentation. You will also be expected to facilitate meetings, take minutes, and actively contribute to stakeholder discussions.
Success in this role means you are attention to detail, are organized, and have the ability to manage multiple tasks with some support. You are someone who can work autonomously within a remote structure but also enjoy the social support of a team. You take pride in delivering quality output and approach every task with a problem-solving mindset.
This position is fully remote and provides flexibility, but you will be expected to maintain regular communication through messaging and video calls. You will be based in the United States and will work effectively across time zones as needed.
