Business Analyst

Role Summary The Business Analyst is a senior, client-facing leader who discovers, shapes, and operationalizes AI-driven business solutions — with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, and AI agents — and drives the disciplined execution of those engagements end to end. This role bridges business strategy, applied AI, and delivery rigor to help clients realize measurable value from Copilot and related Microsoft technologies. Key Responsibilities Lead business analysis engagements focused on Copilot and AI-enabled transformation Facilitate executive and stakeholder workshops to identify high-value AI and Copilot use cases Translate business problems into Copilot, agent, and automation scenarios aligned to Microsoft platforms Partner closely with technical architects to shape Copilot, Copilot Studio, and agent solutions Define requirements, success metrics, and value cases for AI initiatives Advise clients on AI readiness, governance considerations, and responsible adoption Own engagement execution in partnership with Project Managers — driving project plans, milestones, dependencies, and dashboards in Smartsheet Track and surface risks, issues, and decisions; maintain RAID logs, status reports, and core engagement artifacts Coordinate executive and working sessions, including agendas, decisions, and action tracking Support commercial activities including purchase orders, invoicing, time tracking (Autotask), and budget visibility in partnership with Project Managers Ensure delivery governance and quality standards are consistently applied across engagements Mentor consultants on modern business analysis, AI discovery, and disciplined delivery practices Support pre-sales by articulating Copilot value, use cases, and business outcomes Required Experience & Qualifications 3+ years of experience in business analysis, consulting, or IT services, with demonstrated ownership of engagement execution Demonstrated experience discovering and delivering AI or Copilot-based solutions Strong working knowledge of: Microsoft Copilot (M365 Copilot and/or role-based Copilots) Copilot Studio AI agents and orchestration concepts Proven ability to translate business processes into AI-augmented workflows Experience working directly with senior business stakeholders Hands-on experience using Smartsheet for project planning, tracking, and reporting Familiarity with time tracking and commercial tooling (Autotask or equivalent) Working knowledge of project delivery methodologies and lifecycle concepts Excellent facilitation, storytelling, and documentation skills Strong organizational discipline with attention to detail and follow-through Proficiency with Microsoft productivity and collaboration tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams) Preferred Qualifications Microsoft certifications related to Copilot, Power Platform, Modern Work, and AI Experience with change management and adoption for AI solutions Background in enterprise or regulated environments Familiarity with Microsoft ecosystem engagements (M365, endpoint, security, modern workplace) Advanced Smartsheet experience, including dashboards, reporting, and template maintenance Experience supporting invoicing, budget tracking, or commercial project governance Formal project management training or certification (e.g., CAPM, PRINCE2 Foundation) Experience working in a distributed or global delivery environment What Success Looks Like Clients clearly understand where Copilot and AI create real business value AI use cases are well-prioritized, outcome-driven, and feasible Copilot initiatives move from concept to production with confidence and disciplined execution Engagements run on time, on scope, and on budget with clear visibility for clients and internal teams Teams and clients view you as a trusted advisor on applied AI and engagement leadership
