Business Analyst (Banking/Finance) - English Speaking

Location: Brazil (100% remote) Type: Contract, Full time Hours We are adding a Business Analyst, with a strong background working in the banking industry, to work closely with our clients. We are searching for someone who has experience gathering requirements and analyzing client needs/strategy. This position involves consulting, as well as developing an understanding of our client's strategic direction, project goals, and open issues. The successful candidate must be able to bridge the gap between business goals, user functionality and system architecture, and document those business requirements to be the “source of truth” for any specific area of functionality. Throughout the project, the BA is responsible for maintaining accuracy of their documentation, refine requirements, and communicating with the project teams on changes/clarifications. Must be able to clearly communicate in English both verbally and written to interact with team members. To be successful you need: 3+ years' experience as a BA, working with external clients and internal teams: Designers, Developers, QA, Product, Architects, and Program Management, etc. Bachelor’s degree required with a major in Computer Science, Business or Interactive Multimedia, or similar degree is PREFERRED Direct experience working within Financial Markets, with a solid understanding of industry-specific workflows and data. Previous experience navigating regulatory or compliance requirements within the financial sector is a strong plus. Develop reports, dashboards, workflows, use cases, data flows, and process flows. Including custom reports and dashboards for leadership Superior listening skills required to have meaningful conversations with clients and internal teams. Understand why feedback is important and must be able to find the root cause of concern. Ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities within Scrum/Agile Methodology A strong understanding of datasets, APIs and creating mappings Must be an expert communicator with the ability to confidently present alternate suggestions to client Must be able to clearly translate & break down business requirements into technical requirements Experience with Design and Design tools is a PLUS Experience creating user journeys, user stories, site path diagraming, and creating use cases for testing Working experience with confluence, JIRA, Power BI, Excel, MIRO & any other tooling that assists with data sets, mappings & creating of customer journeys Solid critical thinking skills to be able to solve problems to closing Previous experience with transformation deliveries is a PLUS Must be comfortable working with and communicating with a collaborative globally distributed team
