Job Description Elavon, a leader in payment solutions, is seeking an experienced outside Sales Account Executive to support our Business Banking relationship management partners across the San Francisco Bay Area, including San Francisco, San Jose, and Silicon Valley . This role will focus on developing new merchant services opportunities with businesses generating $1M-$10M in annual revenue , while building strong partnerships with banking teams throughout the territory. How You'll Spend Your Time Build and strengthen relationships with U.S. Bank business banking partners throughout the San Francisco, San Jose, and Silicon Valley territory , resulting in consistent referral production. Develop a strong presence within your assigned market through regular in-person meetings with bank partners, prospects, and clients. Utilize and maintain Salesforce daily to manage opportunities, activities, and pipeline growth. Prospect for and develop profitable new business relationships by selling merchant payment processing solutions to small and medium-sized businesses. Identify business opportunities based on knowledge of local market conditions, client needs, products, and services. Learn and develop expert-level knowledge of company products and services. Present customized payment solutions to prospective clients, demonstrating how Elavon can support their growth and operational goals. Implement and maintain an effective referral network and call program to maximize sales opportunities across the territory. Receive guidance and training in a remote environment while managing an active field-based sales schedule. Travel extensively throughout the Bay Area market to meet with referral partners and business owners. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience Two to three years of relevant sales experience Ability to travel throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, including San Francisco, San Jose, and Silicon Valley, 3-4 days per week (overnight travel rarely required) Ability to effectively manage and grow a geographically defined sales territory Preferred Skills/Experience Previous experience managing a territory-based, business-to-business sales role Strong knowledge of the San Francisco Bay Area business community and market dynamics Expert knowledge of product marketing, client service issues, and organizational operations Excellent marketing, business development/sales, and negotiation skills Ability to creatively resolve complex problems with general guidance Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously Excellent interpersonal, presentation, verbal, and written communication skills Working knowledge of Salesforce Proficient in Microsoft Office Territory Coverage: This position is responsible for driving business development and referral partnerships throughout the San Francisco, San Jose, and Silicon Valley markets , requiring frequent in-person engagement with clients, prospects, and bank partners across the territory.
