Business Central Consultant

Business Central Consultant - Remote - USA or Canada - up to $150K USD/ $190K CAD + bonus

Are you a Business Central consultant who lives and breathes operations and supply chain? We are partnering with a growing organisation to find an experienced Business Central Operations Consultant to lead the design, configuration, and optimisation of core operations functionality. Experience with Insightworks would be a strong advantage.

The Opportunity

This role sits at the heart of the client's Business Central estate, partnering closely with warehouse, inventory, purchasing, and supply chain stakeholders to deliver solutions that improve operational efficiency. You'll be a trusted advisor on best practice, taking ownership of projects from discovery through to go-live and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering and process design workshops across operations, warehousing, and supply chain functions
• Configure and optimise Business Central modules covering inventory, warehouse management, purchasing, and manufacturing
• Scope, configure, and support add-on modules such as Insightworks (WMS, EDI, Shipping) where applicable
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and work with developers on custom solutions
• Support data migration, testing, training, and cutover activities across full-cycle implementations
• Provide ongoing post-go-live support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement recommendations
• Act as a trusted point of contact for clients, building long-term relationships built on delivery and expertise

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• Proven experience as a Business Central Functional/Operations Consultant, ideally across multiple full-cycle implementations
• Strong functional knowledge of operations, supply chain, inventory, and warehouse management processes within BC
• Confident client-facing skills, comfortable leading workshops and managing stakeholder expectations
• Experience producing functional design documents and working alongside technical/development teams

Highly Desirable:

• Hands-on experience with Insightworks products (e.g. Advanced Shipping, Warehouse Insights, EDI Insights)
• Exposure to third-party ISV solutions within the Business Central ecosystem
• Microsoft or industry certifications relevant to Business Central
