Astellas' Global Capability Centres - Overview Astellas’ Global Capability Centres (GCCs) are strategically located sites that give Astellas the ability to access talent across various functions in the value chain and to co-locate core capabilities that are currently dispersed. Working Environment and Location This is a permanent role based in our Global Capability Centre in Warsaw, Poland and hybrid working with the expectation for some office presence. Flexibility may be required in line with business need. Purpose and Scope As the Business Data Analyst, you play a key role in identifying and delivering technology-driven solutions that enhance employee experience across GBS. Working in an agile environment, you translate business needs into functional requirements with a strong focus on AI-enabled solutions. You collaborate closely with AI value teams, product owners, and cross-functional stakeholders to bring use cases and scalable solutions to life. Role and Responsibilities Collaborate with stakeholders across GBS to gather and document business requirements related to employee experience initiatives Analyse business processes and identify opportunities for improvement through data insights and enabling technologies Support the development of dashboards and reports using BI tools to monitor and improve employee experience metrics Contribute to evaluation of technology solutions and preparation of business cases, including AI-driven use cases and PoCs Work in agile teams, participating in sprint ceremonies and ensuring scalable, business-aligned solution delivery Essential Qualifications Experience in business analysis, data analysis, or similar role within a multinational or matrixed organisation Strong proficiency in Excel and data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Qlik), with working knowledge of Qualtrics Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Microsoft Lists) and data-driven solution development Strong skills in requirements gathering, process documentation, and stakeholder engagement Understanding of agile ways of working and exposure to digital, automation, or AI-driven initiatives Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Data Science or equivalent.
