Business Development Account Director DACH & Benelux (m/f/d) – Consumer Health Location: Remote (Home Office) in Germany, ideally near an international airport Travel: Up to 50% across the region and EMEA Reports to: Director Business Development Consumer Health EMEA We have an opportunity for a Business Development Account Director Consumer Health to join our team. In this role, you will drive growth and market penetration across the DACH and Benelux regions. You will manage an existing portfolio of accounts while focusing on winning new business with global and regional brands. This position requires a proactive approach to identify opportunities, build relationships, and lead the full sales cycle from initial outreach to contract closing. The Role Manage and grow a portfolio of existing Consumer Health customers Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities, focusing on Consumer Health/OTC brands where Catalent is not yet present Lead product and commercial proposals, quotations and negotiations Coordinate daily operational topics with internal teams (Research & Development, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality) Maintain disciplined pipeline management and accurate forecasting Ensure professional, reliable and consistent customer communication Attend tradeshows, exhibitions and congresses across EMEA Travel within EMEA to support business development activities Lead the entire sales cycle from initial cold outreach and door-opening to qualification and final contract closing Stay ahead of industry trends in the DACH/Benelux regions to identify new niches and competitive advantages The Candidate Minimum Requirements Proven track record of successfully winning new business in a competitive business-to-business environment 5 to 10 years of commercial experience in Consumer Health, Pharma, or Healthcare; experience in a Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization setting is an advantage Deep knowledge of the customer landscape in DACH and Benelux; an existing network in these markets is highly desirable Strong negotiation skills and ability to navigate complex, long-cycle sales processes within a matrix organization Excellent communication and negotiation skills with senior customer stakeholders Highly self-motivated and able to generate own leads and momentum without constant supervision Fluency in German and English is mandatory Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed and international environment Willingness to travel across the EMEA region Why You Should Join Catalent Our Eberbach, Germany facility is our biggest softgel development and manufacturing facility in Europe with capacity of 12.8 billion softgel capsules per year.
